    Job Overview

    The Brewery Experience Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and enhancing the Ninkasi experience for our partners and customers through the leadership and facilitation of brewery and VIP tours, and other events hosted on-site by Ninkasi.

    Hours for this position will vary based on number of events scheduled, but will range between 30-40 hours/week. Average/ideal schedule will be as follows:
    - Thursday: 9:30am- 6:30pm
    - Friday: 9:30am- 6:30pm
    - Saturday: 11:30- 6:30pm (will vary depending on events schedule)
    - Sunday: 11:30- 6:30pm (will vary depending on events schedule)
    - Monday: 9:30am- 6:30pm
    - Tuesday: Off
    - Wednesday: Off

    • Facilitate and coordinate all consumer-facing brewery tours and partner VIP tours.
    o Manager brewery tour calendar, ensuring each tour is organized and facilitated appropriately.
    o Work with Market Managers and other members of the sales team to coordinate VIP tours as needed. Partner with the Sensory Technician, regarding timing, during VIP tours to ensure our partner’s experience is consistent throughout the tour.
    o Assist with Sensory portion of VIP tours on weekends.

    • Develop and sustain a variety of tour offerings.
    o Gauge the needs of our VIP partners and customers to create tour options (i.e. sustainability tours, etc.).
    o Implement a method for feedback on tours to provide direction for any future enhancements.

    • Manage and coordinate special events in the Admin Building.
    o Work with the Regional Events Manager and community partners to ensure events are coordinated in an effective and timely fashion.
    o Establish proper protocol and ensure it is followed when events are being scheduled.

    • Coordinate consumer-facing release party events in the Tasting Room.
    o Collaborate with the Tasting Room Manager to help organize and facilitate the event.
    o Ensure all details are finalized and all necessary parties are aware of tasks and responsibilities.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    o This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with the Sensory program, and/or tending the employee bar in the Admin building.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: 4 year degree in a similar or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar or related field.
    • Other: Must be able to obtain OLCC license.
    • Desired skills:
    o Exceptional public speaking (i.e. ability to give tours in a charismatic manner)
    o Attention to detail
    o Highly organized
    o Flexible and willing to tackle any task at-hand
    o Motivated and self-driven
    o Brewing knowledge a plus!
