Gun Hill Brewing Company is looking for a tasting room manager in the Bronx. We are a full-scale production brewery in the Bronx with approx. 2000 sq ft tasting room. We are open 7 days a week and host numerous events throughout the year. Just entering our second year of operation, we are in need of tasting room manager capable of helping to oversee all aspects of the tasting room.
Description/Responsibilities:
-Streamlining operations for purchasing, opening, closing, and cleaning
-Scheduling of staff
-Take disciplinary action/terminate positions when appropriate
-Oversee cleaning, organizing and re-stocking of tasting room
-Assist in the event coordination and execution of regular promotions and events
-Delegate tasks to staff when appropriate
-Bar tend on occasion/when necessary
Requirements:
-Must have car
-Have strong attention to detail/high level of organization
-Familiarity with craft beer
-Ability to manage other people (previous bar management experience a plus)
-Flexibility to work on Friday and Saturday evenings
Compensation TBD based on experience.
