Doors of this 15,000 sq foot brand new brewery, tap room and gastropub will open in October 2015, and there will be no looking back from there! New York Beer Project is looking for an innovative, trend setting brew master who can help make NYBP a destination brewery and a household name in the craft beer scene.
Production on a brand new 15 bbl. system is anticipated at 1,500 bbls in year one, with continued aggressive growth and the introduction of a canning line 1-2 years down the road. NYBP plans to carry 4-5 flagship beers with an ever changing rotation of innovative seasonals, including barrel aged selections.
NYBP is looking for someone with ample experience in the brewing industry (of course, kick ass beers are priority #1). Responsibilities will include management of brewery operations, creative recipe formulation, facility and equipment maintenance, material ordering & inventory control, recordkeeping and production reporting, and representation of the brewery at facility & offsite events.
Salary commensurate with experience. Future percentage of ownership a definite possibility.
