We’re looking for a seasoned and inspired Lead Brewer to join the Miner Brewing Company production team. Located in the heart of the Black Hills of South Dakota, and a member of the Prairie Berry family of businesses, Miner Brewing Company produces ales and sours that are both traditional in nature, and yet uniquely and truly “South Dakota.”
As Lead Brewer for the Miner Brewing Company, you’ll work in a fun and innovative environment and join an ever-growing team of hard-working enthusiasts who love what they do and have a maniacal dedication to producing the best wine and beer possible. We have a 7 bbl brew house, six 15 bbl fermenters, dedicated sour cellar (including a supply of oak barrels from the winery), a fully outfitted and staffed QA/QC lab, an established production team that is shared with the winery, and all the resources of an established company such as marketing, finance and human resources.
So obviously we’re picky who joins us, and hire for culture fit, passion and skill as much as for industry know-how. We want the best with at least three years experience brewing on a minimum 5-7 BBL system in a full production brewery with multiple styles of beer and proven leadership abilities.
