Blue Heron Brewpub in Marshfield, WI is looking for a new Brewmaster/Head Brewer. If you love the craft and artistry of brewing, this is where you want to be. We use a JV Northwest 7 bbl system and produce an average of 300 bbls per year. We offer 3 year-around staple ales and leave the other 8 taps up to the brewer. This is a place to be creative, to learn or hone your craft. We have a very supportive set of owners and staff, as well as a strong local home-brew society.
Brewmaster would be responsible for the following:
All brewery operations, including recipe development, brewing, and maintenance of all beers and equipment
Keep a safe and clean work environment
Work with other managers to promote and sell Blue Heron beer
Attendance at 4-5 Brewfests per year
Keep beer supply full for in-house consumption
Occasional tours and social events
Coordination with MASH (Marshfield Area Society of Homebrewers)
Marshfield is a great central Wisconsin town, with some of the best schools in the state. It has a state of the art medical facility, and many other thriving businesses. We have a very strong customer base and are currently the #1 rated restaurant in Marshfield on trip advisor.
