  • Early Yeast/Trub dump form FV Procedure

    We have big tanks now and that means a lot of pressure on non-vital and viable yeast on the bottom. We're in the process of coming up with an SOP for removal of both bad yeast and trub from the cone after KO. There are lots of different techniques - some do it only a few hours after KO, some have strict 12, 24, and 36-hour regimens. What has worked for you?
