Heavy Seas is a rapidly growing brewery in Baltimore. Our production will exceed 40,000 bbls this year. We recently commissioned a new 5-vessel, 60 bbl Newlands Brewhouse that will push our capacity over 100,000.
We seek to add a brewer to our team who has a minimum of one-year's experience in a production brewery and/or has completed an accredited brewing education. Shift work will be required on a rotating basis. Brewer will report directly to the Brewing Team Leader and be part of a larger Production Team that encompasses Brewery, Packaging, Maintenance, Shipping/Warehouse, and QA/QC. Primary duties will include wort production, filtration, tank cleaning, and meeting any/all needs of the Brewing Team. All the standard brewery work requirements apply - lift 55lbs, work in cold/wet/hot environments, love beer, yadda yadda yadda. We offer benefits including paid vacation, health plan, Simple IRA, monthly merch/beer allowance.
