Better Booch Kombucha in Los Angeles, California is opening an entry level brewing position to be filled immediately.
This is a full time position. Primary responsibilities of the role would encompass all aspects of the brewing department from brewing and bottling, to quality control of fermentation. Responsibilities will expand as training progresses. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
-Basic understanding of the brewing process
-Education in either brewing or related science (background in Microbiology is a plus)
-Ability to work well in team settings and independently
-Physically fit to operate in production brewing environment
-Ability to repeatedly lift 55lbs
-Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
-Experience with MS Office/data entry a plus
Compensation based on experience and aptitude.
Better Booch is located just south of downtown Los Angeles. We are one of the leading Kombucha breweries in SoCal and were recently named one of the "Coolest New Businesses in LA 2015" by Business Insider. We are currently brewing 5 days per week and our product is in over 200 stores in SoCal and growing up the coast. As our products and volume keep expanding, we’re looking for the right brewer to grow with us.
