Boneshaker Brewing Company, a growing group committed to quality and unique craft beer is seeking a Head Brewer to lead us to the next level and beyond.
For 3.5 years, Boneshaker has operated an award-winning craft beer pub in the region. 1 year ago, we opened Boneshaker Community Brewery, which has been voted both Best Restaurant and Best Brewery in our community. We also launched the Black Vinyl Ale Project, a brand exclusively for sour, wild and barrel-aged brews.
We are no working to expand our brewery as we will transition the brewhouse and fermentation equipment into a 5000 sq ft warehouse space with tasting room while maintaining our other properties. We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and creative Head brewer to lead the charge. Experience in everything from exceptional recipe design, to sanitation and SOP development, packaging and everything else in-between needed. Experience with sour and barrel-aged brews is necessary as a big part of growth is focused on this niche.
Seeking an applicant that understands that being a head brewer means wearing many hats and wants to be part of growing the brand, attending festivals, entering competitions, talking with guests and other peripheral parts of the business to help. This is an awesome opportunity to be creative (in-between April 2014 and Jan 1 2015 we brewed 100 batches with 50+ different recipes!).
