    Job Summary

    This is a full time (40 hours/week) position located at our production campus in Holland, MI and reports to our Head Cellarman. Passion for our brands and our company is part of the job; brewing great beer is the other part of the job.

    Reports to: Head Cellarman

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Monitoring daily cellar schedule and activities, keeping to a tight production schedule
    Operation of our filter systems:
    • Centrifuge
    • DE filter
    • Sterile Cartridges

    CIP of Tanks, filter equipment, and all pipe work
    Sanitizing of Tanks, filter equipment, and all pipe work
    Strong attention to detail
    Maintaining general cleanliness of all areas of the cellar
    Monitoring fermentation
    Assisting in other areas as needed
    • Brewhouse
    • Pack line

    General maintenance, cleaning and organization of:
    • Physical space (including walls, ceiling and floor)
    • Hoses
    • Equipment (pumps, brewhouse, filter, etc.)

    Must have an operational understanding of brewing and packaging theory.
    Knowledge of chemical use and storage.
    Knowledge of basic HAZMAT and OSHA procedures.


    Qualifications

    Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
    Must be able to lift 50# from the floor to over the head repeatedly.
    Must be able to work in environments of extreme heat or cold.
    Must have basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc…).
    Must have basic mechanical ability.
    Must have the ability to work within confined spaces when required.
    Must be able to occasionally work any shift including weekends and third shift when called upon.
    Professional brewing experience and/or schooling is highly preferred.
