    Exciting opportunity for experienced Brewmaster in the rapidly expanding
    craft brewing and beverage industry in Australia


    Macarthur Grange Brewery is one of Australia’s largest independent craft breweries.
    The brewery is 100% Australian, and managed by passionate family owners.
    In addition to a portfolio of award winning and fast growing craft beers of our own,
    we are also one of the largest contract brewers for the Australian craft industry.

    We are looking for a highly experienced, passionate, craft beer loving Brewmaster
    to oversee and lead the production process from A-Z. The role includes overseeing,
    managing and developing all elements of brewery operations, and would have direct
    responsibility for beer quality, new beer development, and laying the groundwork
    into the future, all at the head of the Australian craft beer scene. We have a single
    production facility at the moment and are currently planning our second. Qualified

    The Australian craft beer market is years behind the more established North American
    and European markets. Get in on the ground level in this high growth market with a
    very well positioned brewery. We are conducting a global search for the right person
    and will of course provide all help and assistance with visa applications, and provide
    an attractive full-time salary and relocation package.

    Job duties include but are not necessarily limited to:
    • Management, support and leadership of all brewery production staff including packaging
      and QA.
    • Planning and implementing of all brewery production and staff scheduling.
    • Maintain and improve company-wide quality standards regarding production efficiency,
      safety procedures, beer quality and consistency.
    • Maintain and update production SOPs in order to minimise operator variability and to
      enhance process consistency.
    • Ensure compliance with and updating of HACCP protocols.
    • Manage all brewery inventory and productions reports.
    • Raw materials and spare parts management and ordering.
    • Assure effective communication throughout all departments
    • Assist management with hiring decisions.
    • Provide hands on relief of all positions when required.
    • Conduct brewery tours when required.
    • Willingness to represent the company at festivals and promotional events
    • Recipe formulation and development for traditional European styles as well as craft beer.


    Qualifications:
    -Minimum of 10 years brewing experience
    -Minimum of 5 years in a management position
    -Education from an accredited brewing institute is required
    -Strong leadership and communication skills
    -Strong organisational skills and experience in training all brewery staff
    -Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
    -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    -Highly experienced with various brewing methods (traditional European and craft beer)


    Physical requirements

    -Lift up to 25kg/55lbs from ground to shoulder height and move up to 75kg/165lbs across the floor
