    Job Description:

    The primary objective of this position is to drive connections and value for the growing Guild membership – in-person and online. The Membership & Operations Coordinator plays an integral role in recruiting and retaining Members, and supporting all aspects of the Guild’s programs, events and service offerings. The successful team member demonstrates a passion for business networking and connecting people to drive membership value. The Membership & Operations Coordinator is a great communicator and an innovative problem solver with a natural, creative focus on customer service.

    The Membership & Operations Coordinator is comfortable in a sales environment, is experienced in business-to-business relationships and has a well-developed understanding of a membership and service-based organization. The Membership & Operations Coordinator is a team player, has a technical prowess for leveraging and optimizing web-based applications and thrives as a problem solver. S/he also appreciates North Carolina craft beers!

    This position requires planning and problem solving, managing multiple projects concurrently; planning and coordinating membership and event logistics; managing technology and communication platforms; coordinating volunteers and vendors; and supports the Executive Director in a wide variety of projects.

    This position will launch as a part-time position in June 2015 (20 hours/week), and we plan to grow it into a full-time position early in 2016 as the Guild grows. The salary range will be $15-18 depending on experience. Location is at the Guild’s office in downtown Raleigh, NC and requires occasional travel within the state.
