Now in its seventh year, the Boylan Bridge Brewpub is looking for a Brewer for our 7-barrel DME brewery.
We are currently undertaking major renovations, including:
• Remodeling the brewery with new tile floor sloped to floor drains, sturdier overhead pipe supports, and more convenient layout;
• Enclosing a 20-person dining room with an 8-foot-wide overhead door opening out into the brewery;
• New kitchen equipment and new rooftop glycol chiller.
In addition, we will be opening a cooperage this summer in adjacent space in the same building, fabricating 25-gallon white oak barrels, half to sell in the marketplace and half to age bourbon and whiskey from our distilled spirits plant due to arrive in early 2016.
The Brewer’s activities will be restricted to beer but he/she will be called upon to coordinate with the layout of the distillery during its installation.
Starting salary is $30,000-32,000 based on experience. Also we will pay a bonus of $20 per barrel for every barrel over 500 produced in one year. All beer is sold through the taps. No packaging or outside keg sales.
You will get one week of paid vacation after one year, a week and a half after two years, and two weeks after three years and every year thereafter.
