Crown Valley is looking for a Lead Brewer. Crown Valley is a Winery, Brewery, Distillery located in the country in Southeast Missouri. Our brewery produces around 8000 BBL of product a year. The Lead Brewer is responsible for:
Recipe development
Brewing recipes to spec
Filtering on a plate and frame filter
Quality Assurance
Cleaning and sanitation of all equipment in the brewery by following written protocol
Yeast management
Tank management
Troubleshooting
Technical maintenance
Receiving deliveries
Monthly detailed inventory
Mentoring of team members
Supporting and interfacing with management
Use of proper and safe chemical handling techniques
Daily cleaning and upkeep of appearance in brewery
Safety Protocols and OSHA compliance
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years comparable brewing experience in a craft brewery.
Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly, safely and pass a physical.
Employees must be able to work as a team doing any and all aspects of the process to assist each other in executing the tasks in an efficient manner.
Flexibility with work hours and availability is a must
