Company Information
• 2014 Production: 5,400 barrels
• 2015 Projected Production: 6,400 barrels
• Brewhouse: 20-barrel, 2-vessel Criveller system. Manual controls.
• Packaging lines:
○ Manual counter-pressure keg filling
○ HDP DFC4 4-head, semi-automatic bottle filler
○ Cask ACS, 5-head can line (16 oz.)
Major responsibilities
• Wort production
• Record keeping
• Milling
• Tank CIP & sanitizing
• Occasional off-site deliveries to customers
• Occasional tasting event participation (on- or off-site)
• Will eventually train on the DE filter and cross-train on all other brewery duties
• Reports to Head Brewer and Director of Brewing
Hours of work
• 12 PM to 8:30 PM with 1/2-hour unpaid lunch break.
• 40 hour/week
• Any required overtime to be approved by a manager
• Hours of work subject to change, employee must be able to rotate shifts when needed
• Shifts may be rotated to accommodate vacations, illness, etc.
• Rohrbach currently operates two shifts, from 5 AM to 8:30 PM; there are no plans to add a third shift
• Redeployment in other areas may be considered if labor requirements change
Basic Job Requirements
• Must be 21 years old
• Must be physically fit for the job (repetitive lifting of 55+ pounds)
• Must maintain a valid NYS drivers' license
• Must be able to operate powered lift trucks (training provided)
