Looking for a Head Brewer at our new brewery in Central PA, 20 minutes from Hershey Pa.
Our ideal candidate will have commercial experience, a passion for brewing creative beers and the interest and ability to do all levels of the brewing process (including filling and cleaning kegs, etc.)
Required Abilities:
-College Education or Equivalent Trade School
3+ years of brewing experience in micro brewery
-Operate 20 HL Brau Kon brewhouse
-Bottling experience
-Recipe formulation
-Mechanically inclined
-Basic computer
-Duties:
-Brew high quality, consistent beer
-Cleaning/sanitizing
-Maintaining equipment
-Manage yeast generations
-Some cellar
-Developing new beers
Good verbal and written communication skills, mathematical and analytical skills are required.
A full understanding of beer science and brewhouse and cellar operations are a must.
