Shift Brewer
Renegade Brewing Company opened in June 2011 in Denver, CO. We currently can five year-round beers and two seasonals. We are distributed throughout CO, KS and NE. We operate a busy tasting room at our original brewery location. Our rapidly growing company is seeking a qualified individual to fill a shift brewer position. Primary duties are listed below, however, we are a small company and everyone is expected to perform duties where needed. Please familiarize yourself with Renegade before applying for the position. We are seeking an individual with an absolute desire to work for Renegade, not just a desire to work in a brewery. This position comes with paid vacation and sick leave, as well as health insurance and dental insurance. Shifts for this position will rotate between first (6AM-2PM) and second (10AM-6PM) shift.
Primary job duties include but are not limited to:
-Milling
-Brewhouse operation for the production of wort
-Fermentation monitoring
-Brewhouse CIP
Secondary job duties include but are not limited to
-Kegging beer
-Working on the canning line
-Racking beer
-CIP of tanks
Qualified Candidates will possess the following:
-At least six months of professional (paid) brewing experience OR a technical brewing education
-Strict attention to detail
-Strong knowledge of the brewing process
-Working to high quality standards with and without direct supervision
-Ability to lift 55 lbs to shoulder height repeatedly
-Ability to maneuver full beer kegs (165 lbs)
-A positive attitude
-The ability to communicate and interact positively with coworkers
