Trillium Brewing Company is hiring!
We are in search of an energetic, multi-tasking, people-person to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate is confident, inspiring, and team-oriented. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable building and leading a team toward a common goal. This individual must have the ability to analyze data and trends and, through team-supported strategic planning, will be expected to proactively find solutions to improve processes and quickly execute and direct change.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Retail
o Leading a team of 8-10 tasting room employees to create the best Trillium experience we can offer customers, including greeting, sampling, filling orders, and answering questions about Trillium.
o Manage and maintain accuracy and functionality of point-of-sale system.
o Manage and reconcile merchandise inventory system, including supplies and retail displays.
o Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of draft equipment, with ability to troubleshoot.
o Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation of retail operations.
o Manage retail schedule and coordinate events with the Sales & Events Manager.
• Management
o Data analysis and preparation for participation in management meetings.
o Staff development, team building, and continuing education.
o Persistent consideration for process improvement and business development.
• Miscellaneous
o Work with Production team to plan beer availability and allocations.
o Work with Event Manager to coordinate and fulfill on-site customer events.
o Whatever comes up!
Qualifications:
• Retail management experience required.
• Team leadership experience required.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and initiative.
• Must be able to lift 60lb kegs and stand on feet for 8 hour shifts.
• TIPS training required within 30 days of beginning work.
• Ability to accurately and concisely describe beer flavors and characteristics to others.
• Must be able to keep calm under pressure and communicate clearly, with composure and enthusiasm, to customers and staff.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and be comfortable with a small, quickly growing business and team.
• MUST have a passion for craft beer and the brewing process!
• Multi-site retail management a plus.
