POSITION: Brewer
OVERVIEW:
We have an opening for a Brewer in our Boston Brewery. The ideal candidate has a passion for brewing and will brew our beer according to set company recipes.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
– Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
– Minimum of 2 years brewing experience
– Ability to work varied shifts
– Proper use of PPE
– Mechanical aptitude
– Attention to detail
– Forklift certification a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Prior mastery Senior Cellar Operator skills
– Ability to perform all Brewhouse operations
– Start up and shutdown of facility processes
– Operation of Brewhouse computer
– Milling, hop additions, antifoam additions, spice additions
– Ability to perform cider production functions
– Management of fermenters
– CIP, Sanitization, temperature monitoring
– Monitor quality parameter and work to resolve issues promptly
– Maintain Brewhouse vessels in tour worthy condition
– Must be able to work together with other members of the quality and production staff to identify critical quality points and help generate solutions.
