    Maryland Start-Up Brewery Group is looking for a Brewmaster to join our Ownership Team. Our Brewery will be located in the Maryland area so we are looking for qualified candidates that already live in the MD/NOVA area. You will be a "sweat equity" Partner in this venture with full Partnership/Ownership benefits.
    This Start-Up project is being branded and developed by Bar Concepts Incorporated Consulting Firm www.barconceptsinc.com

    This Group is incorporated.
    Logos have been created and are in trademark review.
    4 beer brands have been created. Labels, necks, and caps are in production.
    Location scouting has been executed through a professional Broker.
    This project is about to create media buzz due to it's location and strategic branding.
    This is an incredible opportunity for the right person.


    The following Candidate will be in charge of the following:

    - Creation of our beer styles, flavors, and recipes
    - Work production, strictly adhere to established recipes and processes.
    - Fermentation monitoring and data recording.
    - Yeast harvesting and management.
    - Maintaining organization and inventory.
    - Troubleshooting, reporting, and repairing of equipment issues.
    - Safely operating forklift and pallet jack.
    - Keg washing.
    - Packaging of both kegs and bottles.
    - Maintain cleaning schedules and procedures.
    - CIP/SIP of tanks and vessels.
    - Transferring and carbing of beer.
    - Assembling and documenting distributor orders.
    - General housekeeping.
    - Managing all cost controls involving manufacturing, packaging, and distribution.


    The ideal candidate must:

    - Have 2 or more years brewing experience IN A COMMERCIAL BREWERY OR BREW PUB. (NOT LOOKING FOR AVID HOME BREWERS.)
    - Possess a positive "can do" and "will do" attitude.
    - Have strong communication skills with good team dynamics.
    - Work independently and as part of the team.
    - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    - Display strong organization skills.
    - Be flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. (Shift work, night shifts, weekends and overtime)
    - Possess a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
    - Be able to lift (75 lbs), roll/load 1/2 bbl kegs (175 lbs) on/off of pallets, crouch, bend and stand on feet for a full shift.
    - Be able to pay attention to detail.
    - Formal brewing education is preferred.
    - Live in the Maryland or Northern Virginia area. (YOU WILL HAVE TO RELOCATE AT YOUR OWN COST/RISK)
