We are looking for an organized, safety-minded, efficient, quality-focused, and dedicated full-time brewer with professional experience. Experience with mixed fermentations that include brettanomyces and bacteria, propagation, and some lab work is required. This position will be responsible for raw material ordering & handling, brewhouse operations and packaging, vessel CIP, yeast harvesting & propagation, cell counting, SS and wood cellar work, monitoring fermentation, keeping immaculate records, and cleaning.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• At least 1 years of professional brewing experience;
• Brewing degree or commensurate understanding of brewing science and engineering;
• Strong mechanical, multi-tasking, forklift, and problem solving skills;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a vital member of a small team;
• Strong work ethic, organization skills, and focus;
• Maturity and discipline;
• Deep interest + aptitude in mixed fermentation/wood aging/souring/fruit additions;
• Professional references.
This position will offer eventual opportunities to travel for beer festivals and collaboration brew days.
