Coney Island Brewery – Paid Internship
Coney Island Brewery is looking for a new Brewing Intern at our flagship brewery right off the Coney Island Boardwalk! THIS IS A PAID FULL TIME POSITION! We are only a short 5 minute walk from the Coney Island-Stillwell F,D,N,Q station. If you’re new to the brewing industry and looking to get your foot in the door as a professional brewer, this position is perfect for you. As a Brewing Intern, your role will begin with a focus primarily on cleaning, sanitation, quality control, and sampling but you will have the ability to progress into working side by side our head brewer in all roles of the brewing process. If you are willing to take the ride and challenge yourself, this is a perfect start to your brewing career. Our current cast of characters is looking to add someone who can bring a great work ethic and is willing to learn as much as he or she can during their time with us.
The internship is 4 months long with an anticipated start date of September 1st. All candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Basic understanding of the brewing process.
- Homebrewing experience or recent brewing program graduate
- Ability to repeatedly lift 55lbs.
- Physically fit to work in a brewery production setting.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Willingness to learn.
