    Wind River Brewing Co, located in Pinedale, WY is seeking a Head Brewer to oversee a rapidly growing brewery. We are currently brewing 2000 bbls annually, distributing beer throughout the state of Wyoming via can and keg, and are positioning ourselves to begin fulfilling demand in other states. Pinedale is located at the base of the Wind River Mountain Range (where our pure glacial water comes from) and is 77 miles south of Jackson Hole, WY, and our community offers an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities, year-round.

    Experience and requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years as Head Brewer or Assistant Brewer in a brewery/production brewery.
    • Degree/Certification from accredited brewing school preferred, but not necessary depending on level of experience.
    • Proficiency in all aspects of brewing operation (recipe development, milling, wort production, fermentation, racking, fining, yeast propagation and management, CIP and general sanitation procedures, cellaring, packaging, lab procedures, and government and tax reporting)
    • Experience with canning operations preferred.
    • Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
    • Must be able to lift 55 lbs to a height of 5 ft and move 150 lbs, as well as stand for long hours.
    • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as necessary.
    • A strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.
    • Champion WRBC at festivals, events, etc as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all aspects of the brewing operation and quality control processes.
    • Keep and maintain accurate brewing records as required by law.
    • Trouble-shoot and maintain all brewing equipment.
    • Take the lead on recipe development and quality control.
    • Manage all inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
    • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure brewery.
    • Coordinate packaging and shipping operations.
    • Training of all brewery personnel.
