Hey guys,
I wanted to see if anyone out there has experienced this same type of problem with either the same pump as we have or another centrifugal sanitary pump. Every time we go to do a whirlpool or knockout at a decent speed we get a torque warning and the pump won't spin. It will go fairly slow and even to medium speeds, but not nearly fast enough to get a proper whirlpool. We've rebuilt the pump, torn it apart and loosened things we thought might be too tight. We get it working perfectly with boiling water, but then on brew day it throws us those errors again. It's not able to go fast enough to get a decent whirlpool, and chilling is taking way longer than it should because of this. Our American "middle man" who we bought the brand new brewhouse from is pretty much useless and of no help, and it's very difficult to have a trouble shooting conversation with people from China when I don't know a lick of Chinese.
Any pro's out there have any tips or suggestions?
