Paradox brewery in Schroon Lake New York is looking to hire a brewers assistant (20-30 Hours Per Week)
This position will come with the opportunity for more hours for the right candidate. This position will require weekend work; the typical schedule will be Wednesday-Saturday.
The right candidate will…
-Be able to lift 55lbs over head
-Be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hrs
-Be able to team lift 160lbs
-Work safely around hazardous chemicals, high voltage, hot liquids, compressed gases, pressurized vessels, etc.
-Have a clean driving record
-Have a knowledge of basic brewing, cellar work, cleaning, sanitation, and record keeping processes strongly preferred- not required
-Have Good written and verbal communication skills
-Have Basic math skills
-Have a passion for craft beer and making the best beer possible
-Have a desire to make a career out of brewing (if not already doing so)
Preference is given to candidates with basic brewing, cellar work, cleaning, sanitation and record keeping processes. Dedicated home brewers are welcome to apply. Pay is dependent on experience.

About Paradox Brewery: We are a small but rapidly growing brewery located in the Adirondack Park in upstate New York. Currently we are brewing on a 10BBL brewhouse with plans for expansion. We brew over 17 types of beers per year between core beers, seasonals, and one off batches.
