    TTB Issue Concerning Serving Tanks at Microbrewery

    We are a 7bbl microbrewery in Michigan with a tasting room and are in the process of filing our TTB paperwork. We plan to serve from kegs as well as from serving tanks. The TTB is asking that we change our status to brew-pub? Does this effect my state filing status? Can I apply for a Federal Brewpub Brewers Permit and a Michigan State Micro License?

    I am not sure about MI but it happened to us too. It had no effect on our state applications in CO.
