Job Summary:
Assist with brewery operations to include various aspects of the brewing and packaging process.
Job Duties:
Brewing from start to end
CIP of fermentation and conditioning tanks.
Packaging duties (kegs/bottles).
General cleaning.
Forklift operations.
Assist in sales efforts as needed and assigned.
Represent Helltown at events, festivals, and promotions.
Roles and responsibilities:
Assist in producing and packaging world class quality beer.
Provide top notch service to all customers.
Assist in support of other staff as it relates to beer and brewery education.
Represent Helltown in a professional manner at all times.
Job Qualifications:
Brewery experience preferred but not required, if no brewery experience then home brewing experience a must
Get it done no matter what attitude
Absolute passion for brewing and beer **** extremely important to us, as it's all about the beer at Helltown.
Positive attitude
Ability to lift 55 pound sacks of grain repeatedly
Ability to work any shift at any time if needed
Able to work well in a team environment
Desire to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility
High School diploma or GED/some college preferred
Ability to work overtime as needed
We're located in Mount Pleasant, PA, near the beautiful Laurel Mountains in which two ski resorts are located. So there's an abundance of outdoor activities in the area. We're also just under an hour to downtown Pittsburgh.
As with any position with our company, we require the applicant to be flexible in work duties performed. In other words, we will all do whatever it takes to produce world class beer and provide top notch service. While Helltown will do everything possible to ensure a consistent schedule, applicant should have open availability and the ability to be on call as needed. We expect the applicant to understand that rapidly growing breweries require a lot of work and flexibility.
