Epic brewing's Denver Location is seeking motivated experienced Brewer to add to our awesome Brew team!
Requirements:
• 1 year professional brewing experience required
• Formal brewing education preferred
• ability to focus on quality product while maintaining safety in operations
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Must be able to multi-task
• Ability to strictly adhere to established recipes/processes
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
• Safe chemical handling knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude - knowledge of machinery and systems
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to safely and repeatedly lift 75 lbs.
• Fork lift experience a plus
• Must be able to accommodate flexible schedule including nights and weekend shift work!!
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute day-to-day wort production
• Complete cellar operations including fermentation processes and yeast management
• Conduct CIP and general cleaning while producing wort
• Packaging operations - keg filling and bottling line duties
• Responsible for documentation of brewing activities
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment
• Maintain safe and clean working environment
• Keg cleaning
