  • Pennsylvania Brewpub seeking new Head Brewer

    Warehouse Gourmet Bistro and Brewpub is looking for a new head brewer. The brewer would have sole responsibility for providing beer for pub and restaurant running on a 20/30 gallon micro brewery utilizing five 20 gallon primary fermenters, five secondary fermenters and three 30 gallon conicals. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years professional brewing experience, be comfortable with having full responsibility of brewing duties,and have experience in the following:

    Responsible for all beer production including cellaring and cleaning/upkeep of brewery and brewing equipment, keeping stock of all brewing materials and ordering/receiving.

    Maintaining Draft Lines, C02 systems and communicating to bartenders and waitstaff of the rotating tap selections.

    Representing brewery at beer fests and beer dinners.

    Experience dealing with burners, pumps and plumbing skills are a plus.

    Must be able to lift 55 pound bags repeatedly, lift/shake 5 gallon kegs daily and work in hot, wet environments for 8+ hours daily. Some overtime work required.

    Brewer would be responsible for following set recipe's of the brewery as well as developing new recipe's once settled into the position.

    We are looking to hire someone by mid November and have them trained and taking over very soon after. Will be contacting applicants after October 12th.
