To brew truly inspired Beers you need an eclectic team of passionate, somewhat crazy (Ok seriously crazy), thirsty, and unrepentant perfectionists. That pretty much sums us up. Bad Tattoo Brewing features a tasting room with retail sales and growler fills, onsite rock oven pizzeria emphasizing locally inspired flavors paired with our beers. We are already voted as one of “the best pizza’s” in town. Last but not least, we have something for everyone, our home brewed root beer and our apple sodas are very popular with the unfortunate 19 and under crowd that are unable to taste our beer, but are allowed to come in and dine.
Bad Tattoo Brewing Co is looking for an Assistant Brewer, we are located in Penticton, British Columbia.
We are a new 20HL system brewery with 400HL fermenting space. Annual output is estimated to be 2500-3000HL. We strive to make the best beer we can and to come up with new and interesting recipes for our seasonals.
Experience is an asset but passion for craft beer is a must. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about beer, has a thirst for knowledge, and is ready for some hard work.
Candidates will be expected to perform these duties:
19 years of age or older
Brewing
CIP and Sanitation processes
Packaging
Yeast Management
Filtering
Cleaning
Small PR role during festivals and events
Be physically able to lift a bag of grain or a full keg
And a number of other things that we will throw at you (catching mitt is recommended)
Sense of humour is mandatory
