I've recently discovered this “barrel replacement” system of tanks, Flexcubes: http://www.flexcubegroup.com.
Seems interesting to me, for the space management potential and for their varying levels of permeability. I would be using them to produce wild and sour ales, so it reduces the potential impact of scratches and contaminations.
And it all seems simpler to manage than barrels.
Any experience or comments will be welcomed!
