15bbl brewery in coastal Connecticut making high end, high ABV Belgian style beers seeks capable professional brewer with passion to lead brewing operations.
Opened in early 2014, Overshores is Connecticut's only dedicated brewer of Belgian style beers. Currently distributed throughout CT, MA, RI, VT, and Washington, DC, Overshores is expanding and growing its footprint in the northeast and beyond.
Suitable candidates should have experience in every stage of commercial brewing from wort production, fermentation, and packaging processes as well as recipe formulation and executing test batches with some degree of frequency.
Must be reliable and creative.
Head brewer is given enormous creative freedom in recipe formulation within the guidelines of our base malt and yeast strain, so despite being a production brewery, there is a great deal of opportunity for creativity.
Perfect for a pub brewer who wants to see their creations reach a wider audience.
Some kind of formal brewing education preferred but not required.
