Bare Bones Brewery is looking for a brewmaster in Northeast Wisconsin. We have a 15 bbl steam brew house, just invested in a 8 head bottler and were recently picked up by a second distributor. I envision an assistant hired by June as well. email info@barebonesbrewery.us
Position to start March 1st with 2 weeks training with current Brewmaster.
-1+ years of experience working in a brewery
-Good problem solving skills
-Willingness to work at a fast pace
-Strong attention to detail
-Understanding of all brewery processes from grain handling to packaging of finished goods
-Experience with CIP/SIP of tanks and process equipment
-Strong work ethic
-Good attitude
-Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
-Ability to repeatedly lift 55 LBs
-Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
-Ability to work in extreme cold and hot environments
-Ability to work with hazardous chemicals
-Ability to work safely in a noisy, wet, hazardous environment
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Wort production
-all ordering of materials
-recipe creation
-yeast harvesting and cell examinations
-CIP of all process equipment
-All cellar duties
-CIP/SIP
-Yeast handling
-All packaging duties
-Making boxes and stuffing six packs
-Cleaning and filling kegs
-Carbonating and tasting beer
-Logging all required paperwork at the time a task is completed
Compensation
-Pay is commensurate with experience
