    The American Dwarf Hop Association located in Central Washington is currently looking for a Brand Coordinator.

    The Brand Coordinator develops and managers Grower relationships and provides hop varietal development and guidance to ADHA hop consumers through constant interaction. This position spends a significant amount of time outside the office, traveling locally to visit growers. The Brand Coordinator also contributes as needed to provide product information to end users of hop varieties developed by the ADHA, as well as manage and execute independent Brewing projects.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Work closely with growers to ensure that ADHA branded Hops are grown to specific standards in order to uphold superior quality of the brand/product.
    • Royalties – handle all aspects of royalties including annual reports, new licenses, collecting, summarizing year-end royalty reports and sending out lists of licensees in June and August.
    • Assist in management of test blocks to ensure that ADHA exceeds vision of making a difference in the Hop community while focusing on sustainable farming practices.
    • Coordinate with end customers and brewers to provide a technical resource regarding ADHA hops, including attributes.
    • Support plans to ensure revenue growth, provide direction, improving brand health measures and improving brand ROI
    • Attend tradeshows and meetings to promote the brand in a technical nature.
    • Must have strong familiarity with craft beer world with working knowledge of its key players and major brand trends, including competitive brand activity.
    • Submit trademark and patent applications and work with attorney on such matters in a timely manner.
    • Lead development of annual brand marketing plan in conjunction with internal creative team
    • Responsible for press releases and communications to media
    • Coordinate involvement with festivals and events (on and off site) including the planning and execution.
    • Manage ADHA’s on-line presence including social media.
    • Participate in educational and professional networking opportunities on behalf of the ADHA

    REPORTING STRUCTURE: Manager of the ADHA

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education
    Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or Business, or 5 years practical field experience in agronomy or related field required, or 5 years practical Brewing experience with some plant science understanding preferred.

    Working Experience
    Must 5 years experience in agronomy, brewing or related field.

    Skill Base
    • Must be passionate about the brand and bettering the hop community through influential interaction.
    • Must have technical knowledge in applied agronomy
    • Must be able to analyze technical data and present information to varied groups of people including technical and non-technical.
    • Practical experience in fermentation sciences is preferred.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor in order to effectively deliver difficult news to suppliers as well as inspire and motivated internal and external customers.
    • Must be organized with extreme attention to detail
    • Must be a self-starter that is accountable for their results with limited supervision.
    • Must be dependable, a team player and work well with others both inside the organization and with customers and vendors.
    • Proficient in various computer programs such as: MS Office, Word, Excel, and MAC based programs in order to manage large amounts of information.
    • Must have the ability to embrace change while looking for ways to better the brand and position.
    • Forward thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
