  • Blue Prints?

Are there any where online to buy stock production brewery plans? 5bbl?

I dont think you will have much luck in your search - the blueprints should be specific to your space (size, dimensions, locations of existing utilties, etc). If you are strictyly speaking about brewing equipment, most manufacturers can help you with that if you are ordering from them.

I would work with an architect from your area and equipment manufacturer. Stock plans that may be available might not mesh well with local regulations and cost you more than the initial architect when you have to edit them.

There is no such thing as a standard brewery, for many reasons, such as

A standard brewery will require a standard building - and there is no such thing as a standard building

A standard brewery will require standard volumes and beer types, package and dispense types and volumes

A standard brewery will require standard water mineral and biological content, temperature and flow rate, and standard waste disposal

A standard brewery will......... etc etc

As has been mentioned, you need to work with a supplier, so that the supplier meets your specific needs, and as appropriate, building regs etc.

            Layout

If you have blueprints for your existing building, a simple layover of all brewery equipment, utilities, sewer discharge etc will be a start and if your planning commission is good to work with that will be just fine. If they are "in the pocket" of the local building code/inspector/utility inspector you will need Professional Architectural layout.
We did it in the middle of the Mojave Desert, and the city was great to work with. Planning department had no brewery regs on file so we were put under "winery".

If you want a starting point - we started with a brand new warehouse style space. Architect/mechanical engineer/structural engineer bill came in just shy of 30k. This is for a 9k sq ft space with about 2k in taproom space.

Most companies selling quality equipment will assist you and provide PDF & CAD drawings along with mechanical call outs for all utilities needed.
