Auburn Alehouse is an Award-Winning Craft Brewery / Restaurant with a Gastropub Menu located in the heart of Old Town Auburn off Interstate 80. Established in 2007, we have become one of the most visited places in Auburn. We feature 12-taps of exceptional Craft beer, including a full bar with a great selection of craft whiskies. Open Positions Include:
Floor Manager
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff
- Liaising with customers, employees and suppliers
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints
- Communication skills
- Greeting and advising customers
- Problem solving
- Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports
- Assessing and imporving profitablilty
- Setting targets and achieving them
- Handling administration and paperwork
- High volume experience
- Flexibility
- Up to date food handlers card
- Craft beer knowledge a plus
Bartender
- Professional appearance
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational and communication skills
- Strong beer, wine and cocktail knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Stand for long periods of time
- Open availability, weekends and nights a must
- Attention to detail
- Interact with Customers, take orders, and serve a full gastro menu and drinks
- Maintain a clean bar and surrounding area
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Excellent customer service and teamwork
- Proven working experience as a bartender in a high volume, fast paced bar or restaurant
- Up to date food handlers card
- Craft beer knowledge a plus
Server
- Greet customers
- Provide excellent customer service
- Take orders and deliver food and drink to the table
- Guide customers through our menus, answer questions and make suggestions
- Work closely with other staff including kitchen to ensure operational efficiency
- Have an extensive knowledge of our craft beer
- Process payments
- Clean tables and the dining area throughout shift and at the end of shift
- Current food handlers card required
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Stand for long periods of time
- Open availability a must
