Assistant Brewer Needed in Denver, CO: Platt Park Brewing Company

We are looking for an experienced brewer to assist at our popular brewery in Denver. Qualified candidates must have at the minimum 2 years of professional brewing experience that includes cellar mastering, clean brewing practices and wort production. Strong communication skills, accountability and team work are required to help us keep pace as we grow. Positive attitude and outgoing personality is a must.
Responsibilities:
*Assisting Head Brewer in all aspects of brewing ales and lagers
*CIP of all vessels including brewhouse, fermenters, brite tanks and kegs
*Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and beer recipes
*Cellaring duties including bottling and keg filling
*Harvesting yeast aseptically and perform QC/Lab/Sensory work
*Making repairs and perform Preventive Maintenance(PM) on all brewery equipment
*Maintaining a clean and safe work area for brewers, tap room employees and guests
*Working independently and handle multi-tasking with precision
*Lifting kegs (160#) and grain bags (55#) on a consistent basis
*Line Cleaning of in-house draft lines and at outside accounts
*Deliver of kegs to outside accounts in Greater Denver Metro area
*Working some weekend or night shifts and beer festivals/events
