I'm trying to find information on this mill and it doesn't seem there is the ability to adjust the mill gap. Can you confirm please?

I contacted the manufacturer (Apollo Machine and Products), and they sent me info a little different than your posting.

"The Sven 6 inch will process 2,500 pounds per hour and is often used with brewery sizes 10-15 barrel. We find the mill will process about 500,000 pounds of grain before needing to be regrooved.

The next size is our 8 inch mill with a 5 hp motor, this unit will process about 4000 pounds per hour and give 750,000 pounds per regrooving, we can harden for an optional cost of $420 to give extra life (available on all rolls).

The 12 inch unit with a 7.5 h.p mill is usually used by the 30 barrel customer. We find production of about 5,000 pounds per hour and about 1.3 million pounds of production before needing regrooving."

Still, compared to their new prices, this is a very good price for the mill, just a little undersized for our applications. Good luck selling it!

What do you suppose the shipping situation would be on this? I'm in SoCal looking to melt my current mill into a urinal so that it can be in its proper place.

Kind of a vague question, but how is the crush on this mill? Is it easy to use? Can it be gapped properly?

I have a couple emails from the company with specs if you would like them. What's your email address?

We never used it as we are a distillery and actually needed a hammer mill. It was very highly recommended by a few breweries. Shipping would probably be around $300-400.

We have the same mill, & it does a 50 lb. bag of 2 row in 28 seconds. You can do the math, but it's pretty quick. It is also easily adjustable & gives a great crush. Hope this helps.
