We are in search of a Head Brewer to lead the operations for Pig Pounder Brewery, a craft brewery located in Greensboro, NC. We focus on authentic English style ales, are well capitalized and are expanding our facilities to incorporate a barrel aging facility and canning line.
This position is responsible for the production, oversight, and operations of Pig Pounder Brewery. The Director will maintain all production actions, from brewing to packaging to sales & distribution. The position will also manage personnel and oversee standard operating procedures for both Pig Pounder and its sister concepts. Individual must be creative, passionate, and dependable. In addition, applicant must also possess the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Management responsibilities include: Brewing, Health and Safety, Operations, Marketing, Maintenance, Reporting, Research, and Training. Fundamental requirements include:
• 5 years brewing experience
• Cicerone certified
• Leadership and managerial experience
• Passion for authentic English style ales
