  • Head Brewer Needed - New Brewery Greater Atlanta Area

    Future Brewery in the Greater Atlanta Area is searching for a full-time Head Brewer who can think outside the box while still having a solid knowledge of the basics. If that’s you, and you’re ready to take your creative talents and bring them to the table, then apply today!

    On any given day the job could entail the following: brewing, cleaning and sanitizing brewing equipment, yeast propagation, cellar work, packaging (bottles & kegs), inventory tracking, washing/filling kegs, helping build recipes, tasting room & tour work, light paper work, carbonating beer, making test batches and scaling up recipes, using a fork lift, potentially managing employees, and other responsibilities as they arise.     Job Requirements
    - Minimum 2-3 years production brewery experience
    - High School Diploma
    - Quality Control Experience
    - Strong Mechanical Background
    - Proven Recipe Building Experience
    - Keeping a safe, clean work place
    - Exceptional cleaning and sanitizing experience
    - Can frequently lift 65lbs regularly and move 170lbs
    - Beer Carbonation and Storage Knowledge
    - Yeast Management
    - Detail oriented & a good work ethic
    - Fermentation Monitoring
    - Beer Transferring
    - Basic Computer Knowledge
    - Timely and effective communication skills
    - Must be able to multi-task, and manage time efficiently
    - Can work unsupervised when required
    - Able to work nights and weekends when applicable
    - Promoting the Brand at festivals, pubs, & events (at first)
    - Positive attitude and natural integrity
    - Enjoys having a good beer at the end of a day’s work

    Desired:
    - Accredited Brewing Education or Sufficient Commercial Experience
    - An associates or higher degree from a 2 or 4-year college
    - Proven mechanical and electronic experience
    - Excellent communication and record keeping
    - Results Driven
    - Strong knowledge of the local brewery industry and market
    - Strong Computer Knowledge
    - Rock Solid Knowledge of Popular Beer Styles (Pale Ale, Pilsner, IPAs, etc…)
