  • New Fermenter Conditioning?

    Just added a brand new FV to our place. Aside from cleaning and passivating should I "break it in" before initial brew?
    Worried about possible off flavor(s) from all that shiny new metal. Anyone have any ideas beside filling with beer?

    Do what you said and fill it up with beer. Never had a problem. I do however always hot rinse very very well prior to starting the cleaning cycle
