Yeast propagation

I want to experiment with yeast propagation and I have ordered a SS aeration stone.

My plan is to aerate the starter wort with pure oxygen the first 24-48 hours of fermentation to maximize the cellcount.

Are there any risk of harming the yeast doing that?
