Brewer - Grimross Brewing Corp. - Fredericton, NB Canada
Grimross Brewing Corp. has a position for a full time Brewer. Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, we are a production brewery with attached Brewtique and Taproom. Grimross operates a 10bbl brewhouse with 20bbl unitanks, producing 1,500+bbl’s/year and growing, packaging in kegs and cans.
Qualifications / Skills / Duties:
Graduation from a recognized brewing program or combination of education and experience
-Operation of a 10bbl 2 vessel brewhouse
-All aspects of cellaring
-Yeast management, including ordering, pitching, harvesting and propagation
-Grain to glass production of core beer lineup to specification
-Very good working knowledge of CIP and sanitation practices
-Manage materials inventory and production schedule
-Packaging (Kegs / Cans)
-Maintain QA and QC program
-Basic computer competence
-Give occasional brewery tours
-Sensory analysis training is a plus

-An extreme attention to detail
-An interest and passion for beer recipe development
-Willing to work evenings and weekends
-Willing and interested in working occasional beer festivals
-Self motivated; able to work with little supervision
-Can do attitude and willing to do what needs done in the brewery
-Efficient, organized and able to prioritise
Physical Demands:
-Ability to lift object in excess of 100lbs
-Standing for long periods
-Stooping, twisting, reaching
Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
