Steam Bell Beer Works was founded on a passion for heritage and community. Brewer owned and operated, we specialize in farmhouse ales while experimenting across multiple styles and flavor profiles. We are located right outside of Richmond, Virginia and have been open since June 2016.
We are currently seeking a Senior Brewer to partner with the Brewmaster/Owner to build out a strong program for Steam Bell. The ideal candidate will have a true passion for the business of brewing and will be excited about the opportunity to help grow a brand. We are looking for someone who has an innate sense of curiosity and loves experimentation but can also follow a recipe to the letter when needed. A well-tuned problem solving mentality is key but we’d also love to see the appropriate intuition of when to raise your hand and ask for help.
We need someone who has had a minimum of 3 years brewing and understands the logistics of the process and the troubleshooting sometimes required. This position will oversee staff that manages the cellaring and packaging process so team/people management experience is ideal.
