Great American Restaurants is looking for a talented and enthusiastic brewer to join our award winning Sweetwater Tavern brewing team. We are searching for someone who is experienced in all aspects of production from grain to glass. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible and looking to grow both personally and professionally.
The brewer will be able to smile while lifting 55lbs repeatedly and enjoys working both alone and with others. One must convey their enthusiasm for quality beer to both guests and staff members. Our brewers are excited about maintaining an outstanding looking brewery. Fanatical attention to detail and the ability to work consistently within standard guidelines is required. Experience with 1000 bbl+ annual production and the ability to individually run a 15 bbl brewery with 30+ rotating beer styles is a highly desirable.
Great American Restaurants operates three large brewery restaurants, a bakery and nine other casual restaurants in the Virginia suburbs of DC. We offer a robust bonus and benefit package which includes, but is not limited to, health and dental insurance enrollment and three weeks paid vacation in the first year. 401K participation is available after one year of service.
