  • Anyone using PolyKeg PET kegs ?

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking at PolyKeg as a possible manual kegging solution (I'm based in Europe): http://www.polykeg.it

Has anyone here had any experience with this company, or with PET kegs in general?

    Thanks,

I went to several breweries that were using such kegs. There is also the company http://petainer.com/ - it is more or less the same. Just a big PET-bottle. I think the petainer is more common. They are good.
But most breweries choose the keykegs. I think the reason is because the keykegs have a bag inside and you can therefore use air instead of CO2. The Petainer is a little bit cheaper than the keykeg.
If I exported my beer I could imagine to do it with petainers or PolyKegs.

    No so long ago I ordered a test-Petainer: https://www.facebook.com/17673995573...type=3&theater

My regular kegs is the EcoFass. It is something between the keykeg and a normal keg. You get the Ecofass back and you only throw away the bag. http://ecofass.com

    Best regards, Daniel
