JOB DESCRIPTION
The Probiotic Beverage Lead/Brewery Cellar Person will work closely with the Head Brewer and Brewery Operations Director to ensure a consistency with process, quality, cleanliness, purchasing, and inventory management to achieve probiotic beverage production goals. This position oversees all probiotic beverage brewing, kegging operations, and quality control; as well as helping with cellar work in the brewery. The ideal candidate has knowledge and experience of probiotic beverages and fermentation, experience in safety and sanitation, takes pride in their work, a quick learner, detail oriented, and a self starter. If you have worked in a probiotic facility or brewery, you may be a perfect fit.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees all probiotic beverage production:
Brewing to keep up with taproom demand and limited off site sales (Kombucha, Water Kefir Soda, Jun, and Shrub)
Transferring
Kegging
Cleaning
Ordering ingredients needed for each batch
Monitoring Fermentation
Public Events/Tastings
Assists our Head Brewer in the brewery:
CIP + Keg Washing
Kegging
General Cleaning
Brewing
Monitoring Fermentation
