  • Pasteur Street Brewing Company is hiring a Head Brewer

Pasteur Street Brewing Company is entering its second year of operation with a full head of steam, and is looking for an adventurous Head Brewer to join the team! Our young, award winning brewery is growing rapidly and is searching for an experienced professional to help us grow. We are fresh off of a WBC gold medal win and eager to continue elevating what beer in Vietnam can be. We have nearly 100 accounts all across the nation and have started to export our beer around the nation. Check out our website for links to numerous articles from Beer Advocate to The Wall Street Journal about what we are doing.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of process from grain to glass. Professional brewing and supervisory experience are mandatory. We need someone who is undaunted by language barriers, armies of scooters, and travel to remote locations. There are no enormous hardware stores or giant yellow books to help you here. Resourcefulness, tenacity, and creativity are paramount. Supervising brewery staff, wort and beer production, packaging equipment operation/maintenance, keeping accurate documentation, and actively promoting a safe working environment in conjunction with the Brewmaster will be primary tasks.

Salary is very competitive with wages in the US, and there is a significantly lower cost of living in Vietnam. In order to ease the transition to Vietnamese life, PSBC will provide relocation for the right candidate and arrange for temporary lodgings and transportation. After completing a three month probationary period, we will also provide health insurance coverage. Work hours will vary depending on operational demand, and open availability is crucial. The company also recognizes the importance of work/life balance and every effort will be made to ensure adequate time for R&R. We encourage travel and exploration and there are many regional destinations a quick trip away!

DIY resourcefulness can be seen across Southeast Asia, as expats and locals open small breweries and try to create a new beer culture that runs deeper than light lager over ice.

Please send your cover letter, resume, and two professional references to careers@pasteurstreet.com. Application period will run through the end of July.
