Position: Colorado Sales Manager
Status: Full-Time
Location: Denver Metro Region

POSITION SUMMARY
The Colorado Sales Manager is responsible for working with the existing Elevation Beer Company sales team, and the Distributor’s sales team, to drive demand and visibility of Elevation Beer Company within the state of Colorado. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Colorado distribution partners in managing inventory, special releases, and other needs. The Colorado Sales Manager will also work closely with the Sales Director in a number of capacities including developing plans and budgets. Finally, the Sales Manager will call-on his/her own accounts in a set territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop annual state sales plan and budget in alignment with the Company’s annual goals and budget.
• Lead and direct team to achieve goals and monthly objectives
• Develop and implement Quarterly plans in alignment with the annual plan
• Manage distributor relationship, across multiple division levels, through regular communication of goals, plans, and price negotiations.
• Manage distributor inventory to avoid stock-outs, out-of-date product, and special releases.
• Provide feedback and recommendations on product positioning, packaging, and pricing to achieve and maintain long-term market share.
• Coordinate pre-sales of seasonal and limited release products within the state and with the Companies Colorado distribution partners.
• Provide feedback to Production team on limited release quantities and ideal release dates
• Collaborate with Director of Sales to ensure brand image is consistent within state
• Collaborate and coordinate with Director of Sales and Production in the planning of new product launches


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must check your ego and drama at the door, work hard, and have some fun!
• Minimum five (5) years sales experience in the alcohol beverage industry - Craft Brewery or Distributor experience strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and execute annual state sales plan and budget
• Proven ability to lead a team
• Proven ability to extrapolate and analyze data
• Certified Beer Server, Cicerone, or Certified Beer Judge always a plus!
• Excellent verbal communication skills including presentations and public speaking
• Computer savvy- particularly experienced with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree (or greater), preferably in Marketing or Business
• Understanding of 3-tier system including how to work with various types of accounts
• Weekend and night work regularly required
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to keep logs and records of activities
