Burial Beer Co. in Asheville, NC is looking for an experienced cellarman specializing in the art of wood.
Must be 21+

Salary based on Experience
Extensive brewing/cellar background
Experience with materials procurement and production scheduling
Extensive commercial experience with mixed culture (Sacc/Brett/Bacteria/"Wild"/Spontaneous) fermented/aged beer production with proven success
Experience with coolship design, spontaneous environment building and overall spontaneous beer production via open, "unpitched wort" fermentation
Extensive commercial experience with wood aging (including but not limited to spirit barrel, wine barrel, foeder) and Solera process beer production
Experience with wood vessel maintenance: barrel and foeder cooperage management/repair
Experience with sensory and blending with proven success
Strong creative endeavor and proven ability to "think outside the box"
Extensive knowledge of historical beer styles and displaying overall knowledge of BJCP style guidelines
Positive attitude
Nothing is below you/willingness to do all that is required

Superior communication skills
Knowledge of current trends within the modern craft beer environment including but not limited to recent innovations in production processes/new materials and trends of the craft beer drinking public
